Our subsidiary Infront Quant AG is a leading RegTech in the field of independent valuations and regulatory ratio calculations, based in Frankfurt am Main, one of the most important international financial centers worldwide. We focus in particular on the calculation of risk ratios in connection with regulatory requirements such as PRIIPs, MiFID II, etc. as well as fair value valuations of all financial products - from plain vanilla derivatives, (illiquid) promissory notes to complex structured products - and portfolios.

We are looking for career starters as well as experienced employees for the position of Software Engineer with the following tasks:

  • Development of new software solutions for our microservice-oriented valuation platform in an agile process model
  • Close cooperation with the quant team on the continuous development and reimplementation of the models and processes
  • Technical implementation in prototypes and production systems, especially in the areas of risk analysis, stochastic evaluations and machine learning
  • You are part of the conception and implementation phase and test the new, innovative features
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
  • Refine user stories in close cooperation with product management

What you'll bring:

  • University degree with focus on computer science, business informatics, mathematics or physics or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist
  • Very good programming skills, ideally in Java, Go or C#
  • Experience with source control systems like Git
  • Experience with some of the following: GRPC, Kubernetes, Bazel, Open Telemetry, mechanical sympathy, semantic compression
  • The ability to analyze requirements, develop ideas and find efficient solutions
  • Motivation, openness and team spirit
  • Affinity to financial instruments as well as valuation methods and data science topics is a plus
  • Your German and English language skills are fluent
