Our client is a financial institution responsible for Europe's single currency, the euro. The bank main task is to maintain the euro's purchasing power and thus price stability in the euro area. The euro is the most tangible proof of European integration – the common currency in 19 out of 28 EU countries and used by some 338.6 million people every day. We are recruiting for various temporary positions.


Principal Business Process Assistant (f/m) - Reference AGY/001/19

Business Area




  • Advice and support project managers in defining work breakdown structures, sequencing/scheduling activities and improving the overall quality of project plans in multiple projects in the IT Projects Portfolio
  • Create and maintain PMO templates and tools
  • Prepare various types of formal portfolio or project analytical reports, contributing to improve KPIs for the monitoring of the project portfolio (e.g earned value analysis)
  • Support the development of portfolio/project related communication, sometimes acting as focal point for the projects, using any kind of communication tool required (e.g. email, documents, wiki pages)
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to projects in strict compliance with the cmany's administrative regulations and legal constraints. These include monitoring of resource and financial budgets and expenditure for the projects, preparation of purchase orders and invoicing within the respective IT systems
  • Any other ad hoc tasks related to the projects or the overall management of the portfolio

Qualifications, experience and skills


  • Formal commercial/vocational qualification or formal qualification in business studies, administration or another relevant subject training
  • Previous experience in project management support, including administration, documentation repositories, project logistics and including general technical understanding of trends, business parameters and developments in the field of business or IT projects
  • Administrative experience
  • Excellent computer knowledge and familiarity with the MS Office suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, Ms-Projects ), Ms-Projects and SAP
  • Advanced level of English, both written and spoken with drafting ability within the sphere of responsibility
  • Working knowledge of one other official community language

*An English test must be completed in our office in Hofheim before the closing date. A valid Criminal Records Certificate is required.
