What you will do
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Leader to lead Commercial Strategy and Transformation initiatives across our EMEA and Latin America region. You will define growth programs, sales and operational efficiencies and lead initiative owners assuring Johnson Controls International (JCI) is achieving committed targets. In this role you will contribute to the creation and communication of the EMEALA Commercial strategic plan as well as oversee the implementation of the major global commercial initiatives deployed in the region.

How you will do it
Deliver secured orders and margin in year as per EMEALA Plan
Establish additional sales operations efficiencies, and new growth paths and go to market models
Lead the EMELA Commercial Agile growth programs and manage key leadership relationships to ensure alignment across the enterprise to ensure appropriate planning, execution, visibility, tracking, and governance to enhance implementation success rates
Develop and implement full functioning PMO as needed: globally consistent methods and tools for project intake, team structure, financial management, status and risk management, project/program reviews, escalation processes, business case development & benefits realization. Develop and institute governance processes across the business
Drive culture/mindset change with respect to project implementation & management, and with adjacent organizations to enhance project success and sustainability
VP/EC relationship management – Responsible for regular updates to key leaders across the business.
Prepares presentations for Senior Management Team to present strategy and business analysis to JCI Executive Committee and other Senior Management
Consults with the Vice President, Commercial to regarding interpretation of quantitative analysis as it relates to business issues and the strategic plan and offers best business practices and solutions for course correction
Leverages Sales reports, financial and non-financial business metrics and drives action plans to resolve business issues as a result
Conducts external research and financial analysis and provides recommendations to build the commercial and go to market strategic plan
Develop and implement balanced scorecard to drive performance baselining and improvement on an ongoing basis
Creates financial and non-financial metrics to understand the state of the business and course of the plan. Offers recommendations and analysis on course correction and seriousness and magnitude of business issues
Supports acquisitions by working with the leadership team in the identification of companies that align with the strategic goals, qualifying those companies, and supporting due diligence activities
What we look for
Required:
Bachelor degree in business, engineering or related discipline
10+ years of experience in business management, general management consultancy, business development, business optimization and/ or project management
Strong oral & written English language skills
Strong analytical, operational and project management skills, with a strong acumen for sales, finance and business statistics
Demonstrated team building and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships at the most senior level
Candidate must be well organized and capable of managing numerous competing priorities
Excellent people skills with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships across a matrix, multi-cultural organization
Ability to travel
Preferred:
MBA degree
