Our customer develops and markets some of the world’s most advanced real-time software and simulators. These tools are used by engineers and researchers in large corporations, utilities, universities and research centres around the world to test and validate equipment prior to manufacturing (e. g. vehicles, airplanes, ships, motors and even power grids). To grow their market our customer is seeking an ambitious Senior Sales Professional (m/f) for the German market to be a part of the company’s success.
In this position you are in charge of promoting our customers´ products and of managing the sales cycles. You will make sales by prospecting and business development and by actively pursuing new business opportunities. You follow up with existing customers, while maintaining the highest quality relationship and you are able to understand the customers´ challenges and goals to provide the appropriate solution. Furthermore, you participate in product demonstrations.
You have a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, International Business or the equivalent or a technical background (electronics, power electronics and/or electrical engineering, automatic, mechatronics), ideally complemented by a third cycle business school/MBA. Preferably you have between 4 and 10 years’ experience in business development and a profound knowledge of high tech industry, engineering and real-time simulation. At least a basic knowledge of the following tools would be nice to have: Webex, Exact Target, MS Office, CRM. You are the perfect candidate when you have excellent German and English communication skill and a basic knowledge of French. You are well organized and able to work autonomously as well as within a dynamic team. You show initiative and seek a challenge in a growing market. You are result-driven, adaptable, organized, and determined and have excellent interpersonal skills.
